Timbmet Engineered Components lead the way in timber innovation. Taking the beauty and strength of wood, and from it creating ingenious, engineered solutions which enhance the appearance and improve its stability and durability, TEC® products make timber work in applications where previously its characteristics have made it unsuitable. The technology behind these innovative components is groundbreaking: Timbmet has developed probably the most versatile engineered wood products available today.

Available off-the-shelf, for use in door, window and stair manufacture, or for more general use as substrates wrapped in wood veneer; the result is the look and feel of solid timber coupled with the following amazing benefits:

Dimensional stability – The stress performance of TEC® products far exceed that of wood, and the multi-layer construction adds strength and durability

Reduced wastage – Because the components are made-to-measure, material wastage is kept to a minimum

Our off the Shelf TEC® range includes:

Window TEC®, Door TEC® and Stair TEC® products. These component pieces can be assembled to create a finished product which is easily machined with reduced wastage making them an ideal product solution for joinery manufacturers.

Insulated door panels, some with FD30 fire ratings for use with the Door TEC® components.

Taurus door kits, an efficient and effective way of producing stylish front doors. With four key styles, they deliver extreme stability, unbeatable insulation and allow for countless possibilities in terms of design. NEW TEC® Sandwich Panels:

Timbmet are the exclusive UK distributor of external quality veneered sandwich panels from OH Industri, Denmark - For use in doors, interior fittings, furniture and thermal insulation.

OH Sandwich Panels are light in weight and designed to save on production time. They enable external doors to be fully compliant with the existing U values dictated by Part L of the Building Regulations, and also with the proposed lower U values due for implementation in 2013.

They are available in smaller quantities, rather than just half and full loads and come in four options:

FSC® HDF
Sapele
Oak

All panels have a polystyrene core material and a 28mm thickness and bespoke specials are available.
